Let Mountain Adventure Seminars (MAS) lead your group through the rock climbing merit badge requirements in a safe and supportive environment. It’s a lot of fun, no experience is required, and all equipment is provided.

MAS staff are trained youth instructors and simply enjoy the opportunity to educate and mentor budding climbers.

Bear Valley is located at 7,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada along Highway 4. Conveniently located between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, Bear Valley has excellent rock climbing sites safe group climbing trips.

Experience the thrill of outdoor rock climbing with family and friends in beautiful Bear Valley on Highway 4 in the High Sierra. This program is a great way to have a healthy, fun and affordable outing. We'll start with a brief ground school for top-rope climbing so that everybody is comfortable with the equipment and procedures. Then it is time to climb and have fun. MAS instructors will supervise, coach and encourage throughout the day to keep everybody involved and active. No experience required and all equipment provided.
