This exciting program is intended to get you climbing outdoors in a supportive and fun environment. MAS instructors will help you gain confidence and raise your outdoor climbing skills. Four different locations allow you to test your skills on a variety of terrain. You can expect a full day on the rocks and to be pleasantly tired by the end of the course.

• Review belay techniques & commands
• Climbing techniques including slab & crack climbing
• Rappelling (optional)

Lover's Leap is likely the best moderate (5.7 - 5.10) multi-pitch climbing area in California, if not the nation.  With quick access, easy walk-off descents and good camping, its no wonder Lover's Leap is on every rock climber's wish list.  Climbers of similar ability will be paired to optimize the day.

Let MAS's friendly and knowledgeable guides lead and share with you some of the best climbs in the area during this two day program. You will learn plenty of "hands-on" practical multi-pitch skills along the way. You can expect between 5-7 pitches per day.

Immerse yourself during this intensive full day course and learn valuable skills for outdoor rock climbing. Essentially this class is the 4 sessions of the Indoor Climber Self-Rescue Clinics packed into one long day and is typically offered during the weekend.
