This fun and exciting program is specifically designed to get you climbing outdoors in a safe and supportive environment. Gain valuable outdoor rock climbing experience under the supervision of a professional outdoor climbing guide. Learn how to become a safe and efficient climbing partner. From belaying a leader, to cleaning the pitch and knowing how to safely enter and exit a belay station will ensure that you are invited back on the next climb. This is a great course for somebody's first outdoor multi-pitch experience.

  • Removing protection
  • Belay station management
  • Rappelling with back-ups

What would you do if your climbing partner got injured at the other end of the rope? This program covers important rescue skills using standard climbing equipment.  Many times a few basic skills can help prevent a mishap from becoming an epic.

  • Belay escape
  • Improvised ascending & descending devices
  • Lowering past a knot
  • Rappelling past a knot

carabinerSouth Lake Tahoe Multi-Pitch Adventures top

South Lake Tahoe offers a variety of year-round outdoor climbing opportunities. Areas such as Lovers Leap, Phantom Spires and Sugarloaf along Highway 50 have spectacular granite walls up to 500 feet tall. The climbing is characterized by clean granite with both crack and face climbs. This program is a great opportunity to expand your outdoor climbing experiences, including multi-pitch & crack climbing, with the assistance of a professional and friendly guide.
