Cruise the terrain parks this weekend then get a chance to strut your stuff on Saturday, Jan. 14th in the Rossignol/Mt. Dew Jib Jam. The rail competition gives skiers and snowboarders a chance to impress judges and win cool prizes. Click here for more info on

Then on Saturday night you can slide down Porridge Bowl in the Torchlight Parade, or sit back and watch from the Sundeck. Immediately after the parade the sparks will fly with a fireworks display for a true Winter Explosion.

avalancheSki/Board Avalanche Level I Seminar

MAS still has a few spaces left in the "Ski/Snowboard Avalanche Level I Seminar" being held this January 14-15 with bunk style lodge options.  This program is open to advanced skiers and snowboarders and takes place at both the BaseCamp Lodge and Bear Valley Mountain Resort.

Prices: $250 / $328 with 2 discounted weekend lift tickets at the ski resort (lift tickets required)
  $300 - "Lodging Package": includes seminar & 2 nights bunk-style accomodations at BaseCamp (private room upgrades available for $30 additional per night).

avalanche MAS Red Rocks Climbing 2006 [top ]

MAS is excited to once again offer trips at Red Rocks, Nevada (Las Vegas) in 2006.  

For those who have experienced Red Rocks climbing outside Las Vegas, you don't need much enticing to return and therefore we look forward to climbing with some of you at Red Rocks in 2006!

For those virgin climbers who have yet to ascend these world class sandstone routes this is your chance to team-up with experienced, professional and friendly MAS guides for some excellent and memorable adventures.

Red Rocks is know around the world for traditional and sport sandstone routes ranging from 80 to 1000 feet in length.  Some areas are within 10 minutes of the parking lot while others venture into remote canyons to access classic jewels.  All of this good climbing is conveniently located on the outskirts of Las Vegas so climbers can choose to either camp nearby or take advantage of Las Vegas for lodging and food.
