"Come One - Come All" - the MAS Alumni Rock Climbing Weekend is scheduled for October 7-8 in Bear Valley. All previous MAS course participants are welcome to take advantage of this special weekend of rock climbing, learning and loads of fun in Bear Valley. MAS instructors will be setting top-ropes and leading educational mini-clinics such as crack climbing, basic anchoring and rescue skills throughout the weekend. Late afternoons are your time for hikes, rides, bouldering or relaxing. Saturday evening join MAS at the BaseCamp Lodge for a tasty and festive group dinner. Experience the thrill of rock climbing on the long multi-pitch routes in the scenic desert canyons of Red Rocks only 20 miles west of Las Vegas, NV. Red Rocks is a climber's paradise with sport and traditional climbing on wild marbled sandstone walls from 80-1000 feet tall. MAS will be focusing on long multi-pitch routes with a low participant to guide ratio (2:1) to ensure everybody gets a lot of climbing. Register soon as spaces are limited. (more info.)
