We're not going to yank your chain, it's been a frustrating snow season in the Sierra Nevada. Everybody wants to know when the snow is coming and what the current conditions are like. We don't have a crystal ball but the skiing is surprisingly good both at the ski resort, xc center and backcountry above 7500 feet. There are thin spots in predictable areas (e.g. - break-overs plus wind and sun exposed spots). Thankfully cold temperatures and excellent grooming have made all the difference.
