MAS and Bear Valley Mountain offer an exciting and unique experience for advanced skiers and snowboarders. Join small guided groups utilizing the "Bear Tracker Snowcat", chairlifts and gravity fed traverses to access "sidecountry" terrain adjacent to the ski area to gain a backcountry experience without the hiking. Often these programs access areas* "closed" to general public, so get on board and have the experience of a lifetime!

The "Bear Tracker Snowcat" is a specially outfited snowcat which transports up to 8 people comfortably. The convenience of having a snowcat greet you at the bottom of a fresh powder fun and transport you back to the top is unmatched.

This action-packed program takes full advantage of the "Out of Bounds" terrain at Bear Valley. Small guided groups use the "Bear Tracker Snowcat", chairlifts and gravity-fed traverses to access the best snow of the day. Particpants need to be advanced skiers or snowboarders.

This Spring we will be offering exclusive snowcat skiing and snowboarding programs at Bear Valley Mountain Resort after the lifts are closed. Explore both regular and "Out of Bounds" terrain with the assistance of a snowcat and local ski guides. How about standing at the top of Grizzly Bowl with only a handful of enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders with a private snowcat waiting at the bottom to greet you? Our schedule is for programs each Saturday through mid-May. Private snowcat programs also available.
