Sugarloaf is a great winter, spring & fall climbing
site located at 4000 feet above
the small town of Kyburz on Highway 50 near South Lake Tahoe. Sugarloaf offers a mix of single
and multi-pitch routes up to 350 feet tall. The rock is clean granite
with both crack and face climbs. This
is a great place to learn more multi-pitch
climbing, practice your crack climbing skills and simply enjoy a new location with a professional guide.
"This place is rad! The guide (Aaron) helped me push my crack climbing skills and showed me some cool anchoring stuff for my own climbing trips." (Mark Gillian - 2007) |
