Each year MAS delivers numerous private adventures for individuals and groups seeking training and challenges outside the scope of the regular MAS calendar. It is best
to contact MAS as early in the planning
process as possible. You should expect several exchanges with the
MAS office to develop, outline and finalize your program. It is
not uncommon for an MAS senior guide to contact clients directly to iron
out details or answer specific questions. |

Recreation Private: Instructional or recreational days which last 7 hours. This category is considered "front-country" and is usually readily accessible via car and/or a short hike. Prices reflect the cost for each person for one day.
Adventure Private: Longer programs that venture into "back-country" terrain and typically last for about 8 hours. Programs can include multi-pitch rock climbing days, mountaineering training camps, backpacking adventures including backcountry skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing. Prices reflect the cost for each person for one day.
Extreme Private: Big adventures ranging from a very long day, such as a Grade VI multi-pitch rock climb, to expedition-style mountaineering tours in remote areas. Prices reflect the cost for each person for one day.
Overnight Private Fees: When a private tour requires an overnight with a guide the fees reflect the additional guides wage, food, permit and cooking supplies.
