Learn essential knowledge and skills for "soft boundary" skiing at Bear Valley Mountain Resort (BVMR) backcountry skiing and snowboarding during this intensive 3-hour workshop. Proper use of avalanche beacon, probe and shovel will be covered early including rescue techniques and most importantly prevention. In addition, an overview of "soft boundary" opportunities at BVMR will be covered while skiing around the mountain. Guides will also give tips and strategies to maximize your "soft boundary" experience at BVMR.

These 4-hour tours start at the ski resort and quickly access backcountry terrain using the "soft boundaries". MAS guides will lead small groups to the best snow and slopes for the day. Expect a fast-paced, exhilarating and educational day.
